Running appliances while your battery is charging is completely normal in campervan and motorhome setups. The charger will continue supplying power while also recharging the battery.

The only difference is that some of that power is being used to run your appliances, so less is available to charge the battery.

This simply means it may take a little longer to reach a full charge, but everything will continue to operate safely and as expected.
